Littelfuse is the world leader in circuit protection and has enjoyed continued growth through acquisition. A significant challenge with this rapid pace of growth was the constant need to integrate product catalogs from acquired companies onto the Littelfuse website. Historically, this was very cumbersome and time-consuming. To help accelerate the process Tahoe Partners was engaged to assist with the integration of products from two very large acquisitions that needed to be completed quickly. This effort consisted of redesigning the site with updated navigation, rebranding 800 documents, alignment and validation for over 1,800 new products, content creation, product integration with SAP and distributor systems, as well as product testing and validation across multiple business units and departments.
As Littelfuse’s digital partner, Tahoe Partners in parallel also performed a website customer experience assessment and competitive analysis, produced a Sitecore technical assessment, developed a product application prototype, and assisted with an upgrade of their Sitecore web content management system to further improve the effectiveness and usability of Littelfuse’s website.
The final result: A robust and improved B2B website that included a product catalog with over 1,800 additional parts – delivered in record time. Product integration onto Littelfuse.com was reduced from a multiple-year effort down to just 6 months.
