The Project

AAR, a leading provider of aviation services to the worldwide commercial aerospace and government/defense industries, needed to replace outdated customer communication and supply chain management workflow processes. The concept was to create a cloud-based portal framework, which could be used to spin-up collaboration sites for all of AAR’s government and commercial customers. The site provided near real-time updates on aircraft maintenance deliverables, locations, status, and schedules, as well as access to AAR’s parts and supply chain data and tools to service aircraft fleets.

The portal contained sophisticated approval workflows powered by Office 365 and SharePoint Online with a completely custom front-end experience, creating an intuitive and rich user experience. The portal was fully mobile responsive providing AAR customers secure, information rich, and real time communication and collaboration across devices.
